1050 Color Coated Aluminum Coil
Our Color Coated Aluminum Coil in grade 1050 is a popular choice for general sheet metal work where moderate strength is sufficient but superior formability is key. As a member of the 1xxx series, it contains a high aluminum content (99.5%) , which gives it excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, and a highly reflective finish . While its strength is lower compared to other series, its exceptional plasticity makes it ideal for intricate forming applications .
Manufactured on a continuous roller coating line, we apply high-performance paint to its surface, enhancing its natural durability and providing a uniform, vibrant color. We primarily use Polyester (PE) for indoor applications and Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) for projects requiring superior weatherability.
Our 1050 coil is available in thicknesses from 0.25-1.0mm and widths from 10-1275mm. Using a standard 2-coating process, we ensure a consistent topcoat thickness of 20-28 microns. We offer classic shades like silver gray and bright silver, as well as custom colors based on RAL standards. This alloy is perfectly suited for applications such as architectural flashings, lamp reflectors, signage, and food industry containers .
