3003 Color Coated Aluminum Coil
Our 3003 Color Coated Aluminum Coil represents a step up in strength from the 1xxx series while maintaining excellent workability. As an aluminum-manganese (Al-Mn) alloy, it is approximately 20% stronger than 1100 or 1060 . It is often classified as a "anti-rust" aluminum due to its corrosion resistance, which is comparable to pure aluminum . It cannot be heat-treated but offers good weldability and formability .
By applying a high-performance coating via our continuous roller coating line, we transform this durable base material into a versatile product for demanding applications. We offer Polyester (PE) coatings for interior uses and robust Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) coatings for exterior projects where weather resistance is critical.
Our 3003 coils are available in thicknesses from 0.25-1.0mm and widths from 10-1275mm. The standard 2-coating process guarantees a durable and decorative topcoat of 20-28 microns. We provide a wide range of colors, from bright silver to custom RAL shades. With its enhanced strength, 3003 is the preferred base for applications like roofing, siding, gutters, downspouts, and aluminum composite panels .
