3004 Color Coated Aluminum Coil
Our 3004 Color Coated Aluminum Coil is engineered for applications requiring higher strength and superior corrosion resistance. Building on the 3003 alloy, 3004 adds magnesium (Mg) to the aluminum-manganese (Al-Mn) base, resulting in significantly higher strength, especially in tempered conditions . It is a work-hardening alloy with excellent formability, weldability, and resistance to corrosion . This makes it a material of choice for structural and pressure-containing applications.
We enhance this high-performance base metal with state-of-the-art roller coating technology. The applied coatings not only deliver vibrant, consistent color but also provide an additional barrier against the elements. Our clients can choose between Polyester (PE) and the exceptionally durable Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) topcoats.
Our 3004 coils are offered within a thickness range of 0.25-1.0mm and a width range of 10-1275mm. The rigorous 2-coating process ensures a uniform film thickness of 20-28 microns for reliable protection. Beyond standard colors, we match specific RAL color numbers. This alloy is the ideal substrate for demanding uses such as building wall cladding, roofing, industrial flashings, storage tanks, and marine components .
